The Game Changer | Heat Deflector for the PK Grills PK360
The Game Changer | Heat Deflector for the PK Grills PK360
In this video, I demonstrate how you can use the entire cooking surface of your PK Grills PK360 when smoking using an accessory called “The Game Changer” from Innovations by Chance. This is not a sponsored video. I paid full price for the accessory, and I am not being paid. It met my desire to not have to section off coals on one side when smoking, losing a valuable amount of cooking area. So, this is just something that I wanted to share. It truly is a “Game Changer.”
The Game Changer is also available for the PK Original and the PK TX.

This is a quick video of making burgers in my Lodge Cast Iron Legacy Series Fish Pan. I needed to cook 8 burgers pretty quickly today, and I thought that my Lodge Fish Pan stretched across two burners would be perfect. It worked great and contained the splatter a ‘little’ better than a regular skillet. Although it is called a 'fish pan,' it has so many different uses! Each year as part of their...

Pancakes on Lodge Cast Iron Using a Copper Diffuser
Переглядів 51 тис.5 років тому
This is a video demonstrating the use of a copper diffuser with cast iron. Copper diffusers are amazing because they help to get a really even temperature across the surface of cast iron. Copper diffusers should be used over no more than medium heat, otherwise, they turn a very dark charcoal color. They will still perform the same, but they just look different. Diffusers are not intended for hi...

During the pandemic, I decided to buy a cast-iron pan and I found your videos extremely helpful. It’s 2024 and I’m back here because I need a refresher to restore a pan that I just bought from a thrift store. Thanks for the detailed explanations and examples! ❤

i need that diffuser because what people dont tell you is when using cast iron on gas fire ovens, the way the flame hits the cast iron is where the most heat is gonna be at where it looks like most of your food is being heated or burns on a certain spot than the other

Thanks for sharing! Most people use a scoop of some kind, but I've been using a condiment bottle like you for a long time. I think it started with me wanting to draw shapes for my kids when they were little... I don't have a copper diffuser nor a griddle.. I do have carbon steel and cast iron pans, so I think that's good enough to do a number of pancakes at the same time. If I wanted more space, I could take out a portable / camping stove of some sort and stick another iron pan on that thing for cheap.

Lower heat and butter with a good cast iron pan works well for omelets as well. When I use oil's it's hit or miss. Just something about butter. Atleast for me.

That's a crappy skillet, they didn't even bother to make the mold round. You would have to machine sand and polish the surface to make it work well.
